Starla is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Master’s degree through Samuel Merritt University. While working as a Medical/Surgical RN, she decided to pursue her passion of medical aesthetics as it is a combination of anatomy and art (two of her favorite things). She has been injecting since 2020 and can provide all of our injectables (neurotoxins, dermal filler, Sculptra, hyperdilute Radiesse, PRF and EZ Gel) as well as microneedling, acne scar subcision, and Tixel2 resurfacing. Starla has worked with multiple Allergan and Galderma national trainers, including our Founder, Shawna Chrisman, as well as interned with a Sacramento-based cosmetic dermatologist while finishing graduate school.
She is so passionate about continuing education that in 2026, she passed the only nationally-recognized board certification for aesthetic nursing, known as the CANS (Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist).
Starla specializes in holistic/comprehensive treatment plans that yield natural-looking results while respecting your anatomy, and prioritizes safety and educating her patients (“education is empowerment!”). She is passionate about helping her patients see what makes them beautiful and unique while also making adjustments to help them feel even more confident.
