What to Expect During a Chin Augmentation With Fillers
Your experience starts with a consultation, which helps us learn about your cosmetic goals and assess your chin’s current shape. After designing a customized treatment plan for you, we’ll perform your treatment right in our office. Chin filler appointments typically only take about 30 minutes. We may use a topical anesthetic to keep you comfortable throughout. Once we’re done, you’ll be free to return to your usual routine, with only some minor swelling and possible bruising that typically subside in a couple of days.
How Long Do Chin Filler Results Last?
Each filler used has different longevity. While many are long-lasting, with some remaining in the chin for a year or more, the injections are not permanent and will require touch-ups in order to maintain their aesthetic appeal. The compromise is that when the fillers wear off, you can adjust your maintenance injections to any new aesthetic goals you may have.
